St Agnes C of E Primary School in Oldham has proved that small most definitely can be mighty! With only 100 pupils, they have still managed to raise almost £568 towards new cooking equipment through Cooking with Schools.

Janet Saggerson, Head Teacher lead a focused campaign, talking about the scheme in assemblies, displaying posters at the school gate and detailing how parents could make a difference in the weekly school newsletter.

"We're good at fundraising," she said, "so this project has not been a stretch for us at all. It's been a great way for us to enhance our existing cooking facilities relatively easily."
